Chelsea Leyland, DJ

Fashion’s favorite DJ Chelsea Leyland encourages beautiful people to dance up a sweat for a living. So, she knows a thing or two about looking gorgeous when things heat up. The Brit expat is also passionate about festivals, and partial to her mother country’s world-famous, perpetually muddy Glastonbury. “You really feel that energy when you are there,” she says. “There is a strong sense of authenticity.” While there, she loves supporting indie-musician friends, like singer Jack Peñate. “Nothing beats getting to dance your ass off whilst feeling like a proud mama,” she says. That said, she doesn’t miss an opportunity to catch icons in action. She once watched the Rolling Stones perform from backstage. “That was, without a doubt, one of my most surreal festival experiences.”

All Aglow

With the muddy grounds of Glastonbury, Leyland says, “it’s not about looking cute, but staying warm, dry, and keeping the mud out whilst letting loose and just enjoying the music.” Her beauty routine is low-key, and skin-centric. She sticks to natural rosewater spray to “refresh and keep hydrated.” Her other standbys are Linné Face Oil and 37 Actives Extreme Cream, layered on top.
